Long-tailed Tit

Long-tailed Tit Aegithalos caudatus: Only in winter, a flock of five or six will visit the feeders or hop around on the window sills pecking up fallen bits of peanut from the feeder. During the winters of 09/10 & 10/11 flock of up to 10 individuals frequented the wire feeders. Often see flock of upto 15 or so along the hedgerows at any time of year.
