Pied Wagtail

Pied Wagtail Motacilla alba: Occasionally see one on the alpine patio at the front of the house rooting around the low creeping vegetation for insects. Mostly they hunt on the slate roof of the house & adjoining barn conversions, strutting back and forth. Always on the sunny south side, never seen them on the north side of the roof.
